KT Sonicboom held off Anyang KGC in the opener. KT Sonicboom outrebounded Anyang KGC 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. The former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) fired 28 points and 6 assists for the winners. The former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) chipped in 9 points and 11 rebounds. KT Sonicboom's coach Se-Woong Park used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
