Regular Season Round 45: Anyang KGC - SK Knights 91-84

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked SK Knights (39-14) on the court of third ranked Anyang KGC on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Anyang KGC 91-84. Strangely SK Knights outrebounded Anyang KGC 42-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-1991) chipped in 17 points. Five Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Hyeonseok Lee (189-1992) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and American power forward Leon Williams (203-1986, college: Ohio) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains third place with 31-21 record having nine points less than leader SK Knights. SK Knights at the other side still keep top position with 14 games lost.
