An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Anyang. Third ranked Anyang KGC faced their biggest opponent KT Sonicboom. Host Anyang KGC (30-19) defeated guests from Busan (33-16) 106-89. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of KT Sonicboom. Anyang KGC players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Seonggon Moon (193-1993) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. The former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) answered with 23 points and 5 assists and Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for KT Sonicboom. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains third place with 30-19 record having nine points less than leader SK Knights. KT Sonicboom at the other side keeps the second position with 16 games lost. Anyang KGC will play against KoGas (#6) in Inchon in the next round. KT Sonicboom will play on the road against the league's leader SK Knights (#1) in Seoul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
