Regular Season Round 40: DB Promy - KoGas 75-76

Important game to mention about took place in Wonju. Sixth ranked KoGas (22-24) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging their close opponent DB Promy (21-28) 76-75 on Saturday evening. Strangely DB Promy outrebounded KoGas 42-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward DJ White (206-1986, college: Indiana) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. International guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-1995) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 assists for the winners. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU) replied with 21 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Chan-Hee Park (190-1987) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for DB Promy. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. KoGas have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. DB Promy at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 28 games lost. KoGas will play against bottom-ranked Samsung Th. (#10) in Seoul in the next round where they are favorite. DB Promy will play on the road against Goyang Orions in Daegu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
