Regular Season Round 40: SK Knights - KCC Egis 87-66

Very expected game in Seoul where 9th ranked KCC Egis (18-29) were rolled over by first ranked SK Knights (37-11) 87-66 on Saturday. SK Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by KCC Egis' players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Il-Young Heo (197-1985) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) who added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-1989, college: Missouri) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and the former international forward Kyochang Song (200-1996) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Five SK Knights and four KCC Egis players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SK Knights maintains first position with 37-11 record. KCC Egis lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 29 games lost. SK Knights will meet at home league's second-placed KT Sonicboom in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KCC Egis will have a break next round.
