KBL top team - SK Knights (36-10) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat tenth ranked Samsung Th. (9-35) in Seoul 103-86. SK Knights made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 60.7 percentage. SK Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international forward Youngjun An (195-1995) notched 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) supported him with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Five SK Knights players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds by American center Isaiah Hicks (206-1994, college: UNC) did not help to save the game for Samsung Th.. The former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-1989) added 24 points and 6 assists for the guests. Samsung Th.'s coach Sang-Min Lee tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. SK Knights maintains first position with 36-10 record. Samsung Th. lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 35 lost games. SK Knights will meet at home Goyang Orions (#5) in the next round. Samsung Th. will have a break next round.
