The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Goyang Orions' (20-22) home loss to fourth ranked Anyang KGC (23-17) 67-88 on Saturday. Anyang KGC looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Central African-American power forward James Mays (205-1986, college: Clemson) with 22 points and American forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 23-17 record. Loser Goyang Orions keep the fifth place with 22 games lost. Anyang KGC will meet KoGas (#8) in the next round. Goyang Orions will play against LG Sakers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
