Regular Season Round 36: DB Promy - Samsung Th. 76-89

Bottom-ranked Samsung Th. managed to get the second consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked DB Promy in Wonju 89-76. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-1989) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists and American center Isaiah Hicks (206-1994, college: UNC) who added 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Samsung Th. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and international forward SangJae Kang (202-1994) scored 17 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Samsung Th. maintains tenth position with 9-31 record. Loser DB Promy keeps the sixth place with 24 games lost. Samsung Th. will meet at home higher ranked KCC Egis (#9) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. DB Promy will play against KT Sonicboom and hope to secure a win.
