Top ranked SK Knights (33-9) recorded its ninth loss in Seoul on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Anyang KGC (23-17) 85-79. The best player for the winners was American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. The former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Youngjun An (195-1995) added 21 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 23-17 record. SK Knights at the other side still keep top place with nine games lost. Anyang KGC are looking forward to face KoGas (#8) in Inchon in the next round. SK Knights will play at home against the league's second-placed Mobis Phoebus (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
