Regular Season Round 34: KoGas - Goyang Orions 91-96

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Goyang Orions (20-20) defeated 8th ranked KoGas (17-23) in Inchon 96-91 on Sunday. International center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-92) notched 34 points (!!!) to lead the effort and American forward Murphy Holloway (201-90, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Goyang Orions players scored in double figures. Even 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-89, college: St.Bonaventure) did not help to save the game for KoGas. International guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-95) added 18 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Goyang Orions maintains fifth position with 20-20 record. Loser KoGas keep the eighth place with 23 games lost. Goyang Orions will meet LG Sakers (#7) in the next round. KoGas will play against Samsung Th. in Seoul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
