The game between Top Four teams took place in Seoul. First ranked host SK Knights (29-8) defeated 3rd ranked KT Sonicboom (22-13) 80-75. SK Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to KT Sonicboom's 34. They outrebounded KT Sonicboom 50-34 including 20 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-94) supported him with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Four SK Knights players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks by Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for KT Sonicboom. The former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-97) added 17 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. SK Knights have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 29-8 record. KT Sonicboom at the other side keeps the third place with 13 games lost. SK Knights will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KT Sonicboom will play at home against the league's second-placed Mobis Phoebus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
