Anyang KGC (#4) was upset in Changwon by seventh ranked LG Sakers 94-65. LG Sakers outrebounded Anyang KGC 46-32 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. LG Sakers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: MSU) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Seung-Woo Lee (192-1) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five LG Sakers players scored in double figures. American Omari Spellman (207-97, college: Villanova) produced 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-87) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. LG Sakers maintains seventh position with 17-22 record, which they share with DB Promy. Defending champion Anyang KGC keeps the fourth place with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
