Regular Season Round 30: LG Sakers - KCC Egis 41-63

We should mention about the upset which took place in Changwon, where 6th ranked LG Sakers (16-21) were outleveled at home by ninth ranked KCC Egis (14-22) 63-41 on Tuesday. KCC Egis held LG Sakers to an opponent 22.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.3 percent accuracy of the winners. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Jung-Hyun Lee (191-87) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: MSU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 19 rebounds and the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-91) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KCC Egis maintains ninth position with 14-22 record. LG Sakers lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 21 games lost. They share the position with DB Promy. KCC Egis are looking forward to face league's leader SK Knights in Seoul in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. LG Sakers will play on the road against KoGas (#8) in Inchon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
