Regular Season Round 26: KT Sonicboom - SK Knights 82-85

The most exciting game of round 26 in the KBL took place in Busan. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-ranked KT Sonicboom (21-10) to first ranked SK Knights (24-8) 85-82 in the game for the first place. American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Youngjun An (195-95) chipped in 17 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Hoon Heo (181-95) scored 27 points and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. SK Knights have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 24-8 record. KT Sonicboom at the other side keeps the second place with ten games lost. SK Knights are looking forward to face DB Promy (#5) in Wonju in the next round. KT Sonicboom will play on the road against Mobis Phoebus in Ulsan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
