Regular Season Round 25: SK Knights - LG Sakers 84-76

KBL top team - SK Knights (23-8) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked LG Sakers (14-18) in Seoul 84-76. SK Knights made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-88) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five SK Knights players scored in double figures. At the losing side Filipino guard Kwan-Hee Lee (190-88) responded with 31 points and 5 rebounds and Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: MSU) scored 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SK Knights have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 23-8 record. LG Sakers at the other side keep the seventh position with 18 games lost. SK Knights will play against league's second-placed KT Sonicboom in Busan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. LG Sakers will play on the road against Anyang KGC (#3) and hope to get back on the winning track.
