Regular Season Round 25: Goyang Orions - KT Sonicboom 89-81

The game between second ranked KT Sonicboom (21-9) and sixth ranked Goyang Orions (15-16) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. KT Sonicboom was defeated by Goyang Orions in a tough game in Daegu 81-89. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-92) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) contributed with 25 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Goyang Orions players scored in double figures. Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) answered with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds (on 16-of-21 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Hoon Heo (181-95) added 10 points and 9 assists in the effort for KT Sonicboom. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Goyang Orions moved-up to fifth place, which they share with DB Promy. KT Sonicboom at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. Goyang Orions is looking forward to face KCC Egis (#9) in Jeonju in the next round. KT Sonicboom will play at home against the league's leader SK Knights (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
