Rather predictable result in Seoul where seventh ranked DB Promy (14-16) outscored bottom-ranked Samsung Th. (7-23) 88-62 on Sunday. DB Promy looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Samsung Th.'s players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Lennard Freeman (203-95, college: NC State) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and international forward SangJae Kang (202-94) who added 14 points during the contest. Four DB Promy players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Thomas Robinson (208-91, college: Kansas) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and center Weon-Seok Lee (203-0) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. DB Promy moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Goyang Orions. Loser Samsung Th. stay dead last with 23 lost games. DB Promy will meet at home KCC Egis (#9) in the next round. Samsung Th. will play against Mobis Phoebus and hope to secure a win.
