Regular Season Round 24: DB Promy - Anyang KGC 75-77

Important game to mention about took place in Wonju. Third ranked Anyang KGC (17-11) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked DB Promy (14-16) 77-75 on Saturday evening. It was a good game for American Omari Spellman (207-97, college: Villanova) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-87) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-93, college: LSU) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds and international forward SangJae Kang (202-94) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for DB Promy. DB Promy's coach Sang-Bum Lee rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Anyang KGC have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 17-11 record having seven points less than leader SK Knights. DB Promy at the other side dropped to the fifth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Goyang Orions. Anyang KGC will play against KoGas (#8) in Inchon in the next round where they are favorite. DB Promy will play at home against KCC Egis and hopes to get back on the winning track.
