Regular Season Round 24: KT Sonicboom - KCC Egis 97-84

Very expected game in Busan where 9th ranked KCC Egis (10-19) were defeated by second ranked KT Sonicboom (21-8) 97-84 on Saturday. KT Sonicboom made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-97) who added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) with 15 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward Latavious Williams (203-89, agency: BeoBasket) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four KT Sonicboom and five KCC Egis players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KT Sonicboom maintains second position with 21-8 record behind leader SK Knights. KCC Egis lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 19 games lost. KT Sonicboom will meet Goyang Orions (#6) in the next round. KCC Egis will play against DB Promy in Wonju and hope to secure a win.
