Regular Season Round 24: LG Sakers - Mobis Phoebus 70-73

A very close game took place in Changwon between Mobis Phoebus and LG Sakers. Fourth ranked Mobis Phoebus (17-14) got a very close victory on the road over 8th ranked LG Sakers (14-17). Mobis Phoebus managed to escape with a 3-point win 73-70 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Wooseok Lee who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and American point guard Rashon Thomas (183, college: TAMUK) who added 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Mobis Phoebus players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-91) with 16 points and 6 assists and forward Hee-Jae Jeong (195-89) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mobis Phoebus maintains fourth position with 17-14 record. Loser LG Sakers dropped to the seventh place with 17 games lost. Mobis Phoebus will meet bottom-ranked Samsung Th. (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. LG Sakers will play against the league's leader SK Knights in Seoul and hope to secure a win.
