Very expected game when 10th ranked Samsung Th. (6-20) lost to fifth ranked Mobis Phoebus (13-13) in Ulsan 70-80. Mobis Phoebus outrebounded Samsung Th. 42-30 including 27 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American point guard Rashon Thomas (183, college: TAMUK) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and Wooseok Lee chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American Thomas Robinson (208-91, college: Kansas) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-89) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mobis Phoebus moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Goyang Orions. Samsung Th. lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 20 games lost. Mobis Phoebus will play against Goyang Orions (#4) in Daegu in the next round. Samsung Th. will play at home against Anyang KGC (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
