Rather predictable result in Wonju where second ranked SK Knights (16-7) defeated 5th ranked DB Promy (11-13) 85-72 on Wednesday. SK Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to DB Promy's 34 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international Joon-Young Choi (200-94) chipped in 19 points. Four SK Knights players scored in double figures. The former international guard Woong Heo (183-93) produced 18 points and 5 assists and American forward Lennard Freeman (203-95, college: NC State) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SK Knights maintains second place with 16-7 record behind leader KT Sonicboom. Loser DB Promy dropped to the sixth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Mobis Phoebus. SK Knights will meet league's leader KT Sonicboom in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. DB Promy will play against KCC Egis (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
