Everything went according to plan in Daegu where third ranked Anyang KGC (13-8) won against 5th ranked Goyang Orions (11-12) 95-83 on Sunday. Anyang KGC shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Omari Spellman (207-97, college: Villanova) had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-91) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Murphy Holloway (201-90, college: Ole Miss) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and the former international Lee Jung-Hyun (190-99) scored 20 points and 5 assists. Anyang KGC have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 13-8 record having four points less than leader KT Sonicboom. Goyang Orions lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Mobis Phoebus and DB Promy. Anyang KGC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Goyang Orions will play against Mobis Phoebus (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
