Regular Season Round 14: Anyang KGC - DB Promy 90-96

There was a surprise result when eighth ranked DB Promy (8-10) beat on the road higher ranked Anyang KGC (9-7) 96-90 on Sunday. They outrebounded Anyang KGC 52-39 including 39 on the defensive glass. The former international guard Woong Heo (183-93) scored 29 points to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-93, college: LSU) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. DB Promy's coach Sang-Bum Lee used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International guard Junhyeong Byeon (186-96) responded with 20 points and 7 assists and international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-91) scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. DB Promy maintains eighth position with 8-10 record. Defending champion Anyang KGC dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. DB Promy will meet Samsung Th. (#9) in the next round. Anyang KGC will have a break next round.
