Regular Season Round 12: LG Sakers - SK Knights 85-73

Top ranked SK Knights (10-5) recorded its fifth loss in Changwon on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by tenth ranked LG Sakers (4-11) 85-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SK Knights. The best player for the winners was Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: MSU) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. The former international center Park Junghyeon (202-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four LG Sakers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international forward Youngjun An (195-95) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LG Sakers maintains tenth position with 4-11 record. SK Knights at the other side still keep top place with five games lost. They share the position with KT Sonicboom. LG Sakers are looking forward to face higher ranked Anyang KGC (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. SK Knights will play against KCC Egis and are hoping to win this game.
