An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Seoul. First ranked SK Knights faced 4th ranked Goyang Orions. Host SK Knights (10-5) defeated guests from Daegu (8-7) 89-83. SK Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Goyang Orions' 48. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Goyang Orions' players. It was a good game for American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-88) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) replied with 17 points and American forward Murphy Holloway (201-90, college: Ole Miss) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Goyang Orions. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SK Knights maintains first position with 10-5 record, which they share with KT Sonicboom. Goyang Orions lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with KoGas. SK Knights will play against KCC Egis (#6) in Jeonju in the next round where they are favorite. Goyang Orions will play at home against Mobis Phoebus and hope to get back on the winning track.
