Regular Season Round 11: DB Promy - SK Knights 67-77

Leader SK Knights delivered the ninth victory. This time they beat 7th ranked DB Promy (6-8) 77-67 in Wonju. American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds. The former international Joon-Young Choi (200-94) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Lennard Freeman (203-95, college: NC State) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Woong Heo (183-93) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for DB Promy. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SK Knights maintains first place with 9-4 record. DB Promy at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. SK Knights will play against bottom-ranked LG Sakers (#10) in Changwon in the next round and are hoping to win another game. DB Promy will play at home against Samsung Th. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
