Important game to mention about took place in Busan. Second ranked KT Sonicboom (8-4) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th placed KCC Egis (6-6) 80-79 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KCC Egis. Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and the former international forward Dong-Wook Kim (194-81) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Jung-Hyun Lee (191-87) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. KCC Egis' coach Kang Yangtaek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KT Sonicboom maintains second place with 8-4 record having just one point less than leader SK Knights, which they share with Goyang Orions. KCC Egis at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with KoGas. KT Sonicboom will play against DB Promy (#7) in Wonju in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. KCC Egis will have a break next round.
