The game in Wonju was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked KoGas (6-6) played at the court of 7th ranked DB Promy (5-6). KoGas managed to secure a 4-point victory 84-80 on Saturday. KoGas made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-89, college: St.Bonaventure) nailed a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and international guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-95) accounted for 23 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American forward Yante Maten (203-96, college: Georgia) came up with 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Woong Heo (183-93) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for DB Promy in the defeat. Five DB Promy players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. KoGas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with KCC Egis. DB Promy lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. KoGas will meet bottom-ranked LG Sakers (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. DB Promy will play against the league's second-placed KT Sonicboom and hope to secure a win.
