An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Seoul. First ranked SK Knights faced second-ranked KT Sonicboom. Host SK Knights (8-2) smashed guests from Busan (7-4) 91-65. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of KT Sonicboom. American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Youngjun An (195-95) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 9 points and 16 rebounds and guard Jeong-Won Jung (178-93) added 14 points in the effort for KT Sonicboom. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SK Knights have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-2 record. KT Sonicboom at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. SK Knights will play against Anyang KGC (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. KT Sonicboom will play against KCC Egis (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
