Regular Season Round 6: KT Sonicboom - Mobis Phoebus 98-102

The most important game in the last round took place in Busan between third ranked KT Sonicboom (5-3) and tenth ranked Mobis Phoebus (3-6) on Thursday night. KT Sonicboom was defeated by Mobis Phoebus in a tough game at home 98-102. Mobis Phoebus made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Mobis Phoebus especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Rashon Thomas (183, college: TAMUK) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Wooseok Lee contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jeong-Won Jung (178-93) added 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for KT Sonicboom. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KT Sonicboom's coach Se-Woong Park rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mobis Phoebus moved-up to ninth place. KT Sonicboom at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with Goyang Orions and DB Promy. Mobis Phoebus are looking forward to face bottom-ranked LG Sakers (#10) in Changwon in the next round. KT Sonicboom will play at home against Anyang KGC (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
