The game in Jeonju was also worth to mention about. Second ranked DB Promy (5-3) played at the court of 7th ranked KCC Egis (4-5). DB Promy managed to secure a 8-point victory 90-82. DB Promy outrebounded KCC Egis 40-29 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international guard Woong Heo (183-93) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Lennard Freeman (203-95, college: NC State) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five DB Promy players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Jiwan Kim (188-90) with 19 points and the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. DB Promy maintains second position with 5-3 record behind leader SK Knights, which they share with Goyang Orions and KT Sonicboom. KCC Egis at the other side dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. They share the position with Samsung Th. and KoGas. DB Promy will play against Goyang Orions (#4) in Daegu in the next round. KCC Egis will play at home against KT Sonicboom and hope to get back on the winning track.
