Regular Season Round 2: Toyota BSR - Mitsubishi K. 82-72

Very predictable result in Aichi where Toyota BSR defeated Mitsubishi K. 82-72 on Sunday. Toyota BSR forced 19 Mitsubishi K. turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. International swingman Nanako Todo (175-0) scored 13 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Yuki Kato (179-97) chipped in 20 points during the contest. The former international power forward Yuka Kosuge (181-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international swingman Aya Watanabe (168-92) scored 18 points and 5 assists. Four Mitsubishi K. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyota BSR will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Mitsubishi K. will play on the road against Niigata R. in Tokyo and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
