Regular Season Round 4: Anyang KGC - SK Knights 104-99

The most important game in the last round took place in Anyang between third ranked SK Knights (3-2) and eighth ranked Anyang KGC (2-3) on Thursday night. SK Knights were defeated by Anyang KGC in a tough game on the road 99-104. Anyang KGC looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Omari Spellman (207-97, college: Villanova) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-91) who added 22 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-94) responded with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to seventh place, which they share with KCC Egis. SK Knights at the other side keep the third position with two games lost. They share it with Samsung Th. and Goyang Orions. Anyang KGC is looking forward to face LG Sakers (#9) in Changwon in the next round. SK Knights will play at home against the league's second-placed DB Promy (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
