Semi-Finals Game 6: Hotshots - Meralco Bolts 93-85

Hotshots held off Meralco Bolts to advance into the Finals. Hotshots outrebounded Meralco Bolts 50-39 including 19 on the offensive glass. Meralco Bolts were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for power forward Ian Paul Sangalang (201-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Rome dela Rosa (191-90) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Raymond Almazan (206-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized American Clifford Hodge (196-88, college: HPU) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Meralco Bolts. Five Hotshots and four Meralco Bolts players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
