Finals Game 3: Gunma - Ibaraki R. 98-75

Gunma Crane Thunders celebrated B2 League title. They overcame Ibaraki Robots in the decisive third game of the Finals. Gunma dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Ibaraki R.'s 34. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Ibaraki R.'s players. It was a great evening for naturalized American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. American center Brian Qvale (208-88, college: Montana) helped adding 28 points and 4 blocks. Four Gunma players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
