Semi-Finals Game 2: Tochigi B. - Kawasaki BT 96-78

Tochigi Brex held off Kawasaki to advance into B1 League Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Tochigi B.. Toshiba Thunders managed to win second period 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Toshiba Thunders 35-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. Tochigi B. shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who scored 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American power forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Four Tochigi B. players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) produced 23 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and the former international swingman Naoto Tsuji (185-89) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
