Finals Game 3: Mahram - Gorgan 66-88

Gorgan regained the lead in the championship series as they stormed past Mahram. The game was mostly controlled by Gorgan. Mahram managed to win third quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Mahram 44-30 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gorgan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Mahram's players. It was a great evening for Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (207-87, college: Georgia Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Navid Rezaeifar (185-96) helped adding 17 points. Four Gorgan players scored in double figures. Gorgan's coach Mehran Shahintab felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Mohammad Nikkhah (199-83, agency: BIG) with 22 points and 5 rebounds and American DaJuan Summers (203-88, college: Georgetown) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds.
