Finals Game 1: Al Hilal - Al Fateh 76-65

Al Hilal earned the third place in SBL as they topped Al Fateh in the consolation final. Al Hilal outrebounded Al Fateh 43-25 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. International center Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-98) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and American swingman Dominique Sutton (198-86, college: NCCU) chipped in 16 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side swingman Ali Al Khodeir (187) responded with 29 points (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and the former international point guard Mohammed Al Saqer (179-85) scored 7 points and 11 assists.
