An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Jeonju. First ranked KCC Egis faced 3rd placed Goyang Orions. Host KCC Egis (31-15) smashed guests from Daegu (26-20) 91-66. KCC Egis dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Goyang Orions' 38. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when KCC Egis made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks. The former international forward Kyochang Song (200-96) helped adding 15 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Il-Young Heo (197-85) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-92) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KCC Egis maintains first place with 31-15 record. Loser Goyang Orions keep the third position with 20 games lost. KCC Egis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Goyang Orions will play against KT Sonicboom in Busan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
