There was no surprise in Seoul where 9th ranked LG Sakers (12-22) were defeated by seventh ranked Samsung Th. (16-19) 79-75. American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) notched 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and forward Dong-Yeop Lee (194-94) supported him with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward Leon Williams (203-86, college: Ohio) did not help to save the game for LG Sakers. Guard Won-Dae Lee (184-90) added 16 points. Four LG Sakers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Samsung Th. maintains seventh position with 16-19 record. LG Sakers at the other side keep the ninth place with 22 games lost. Samsung Th.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked Goyang Orions (#4) in Daegu and it may be quite challenging game. LG Sakers will play at home against ET Land (#6) and hope to win that game.
