Very expected game when 7th ranked Samsung Th. (15-18) lost to third ranked Mobis Phoebus (19-13) in Seoul 66-81 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for American forward Shawn Long (208-93, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 9 rebounds. The former international center Jae-Sok Jang (205-83) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Five Mobis Phoebus players scored in double figures. American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) replied with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Hyun-Soo Kim (185-90) added 11 points in the effort for Samsung Th.Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mobis Phoebus have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Samsung Th. lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 18 games lost. Mobis Phoebus will face KT Sonicboom (#4) in Busan in the next round. Samsung Th. will play on the road against Anyang KGC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
