The game in Busan was also quite interesting. Third ranked Goyang Orions (18-12) played at the court of 7th ranked KT Sonicboom (15-14). Goyang Orions managed to secure a 4-point victory 80-76 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Dedric Lawson (206-97, college: Kansas) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. Goyang Orions' coach Byong-Chul Kim used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was center Min-Wook Kim (203-90) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds and international guard Hoon Heo (181-95) added 15 points, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Goyang Orions. They moved-up to second place. Loser KT Sonicboom dropped to the sixth position with 14 games lost. Goyang Orions will face bottom-ranked DB Promy (#10) in Wonju in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KT Sonicboom will play on the road against ET Land (#5) in Inchon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
