Regular Season Round 24: Anyang KGC - LG Sakers 70-66

There was no surprise when 9th ranked LG Sakers (10-17) were defeated on the road by third ranked Anyang KGC (15-11) 70-66. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The winners were led by American power forward Latavious Williams (203-89, agency: BeoBasket) who scored that evening 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Byeon Junhyeong (186-96) supported him with 11 points and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 19 points and 17 rebounds by American power forward Leon Williams (203-86, college: Ohio) did not help to save the game for LG Sakers. Guard Seung-Uk Choi (187-94) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Anyang KGC moved-up to second place. LG Sakers at the other side keep the ninth position with 17 games lost. Anyang KGC's next round opponent will be SK Knights (#8) in Seoul where they are favorite.
