Samsung Th. did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 94-77. Samsung Th. outrebounded KT Sonicboom 43-28 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Dong-Yeop Lee (194-94) supported him with 13 points and 7 assists. Even 15 points and 9 assists by international guard Hoon Heo (181-95) did not help to save the game for KT Sonicboom. American Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CSUSB) added 17 points and 4 assists. Five Samsung Th. and four KT Sonicboom players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Samsung Th. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus and ET Land. KT Sonicboom at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 12 games lost. Samsung Th.'s next round opponent will be ET Land (#7) in Inchon.
