Regular Season Round 19: Tungsan - Siglap 82-102

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Tungsan (4-14) was crushed at home by eighth ranked Siglap (7-10) 102-82 on Wednesday. Siglap outrebounded Tungsan 53-35 including 21 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for international guard Xavier Ng Jun (188-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 9 rebounds. The former international guard Gavin Tay (188-1999) helped adding 13 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Siglap players scored in double figures. At the losing side Michael Kankam responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Prasant Selvakumar scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Siglap maintains eighth place with 7-10 record. Newly promoted Tungsan keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Siglap will meet Nanyang (#11) in the next round. Tungsan will play against SBA and hope to secure a win.
