Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Singapore:Hornets (#1) and Siglap (#8). Siglap was crushed at home by 16 points 70-86 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Siglap. Hornets dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Siglap 's 38. They outrebounded Siglap 46-21 including a 27-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Jun Hao Mah who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Kelvin Lim (191-1996) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Eshan Kaul produced 13 points and Jeryl Gan added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the sixteenth consecutive win for Hornets . They maintain first place with 16-0 record. Loser Siglap keeps the eighth position with ten games lost.
