There was an upset when higher rankedTong Whye (8-7) was smashed by ninth ranked SG Bball (5-10) in Singapore 87-57 on Sunday. SG Bball held Tong Whye to an opponent 24.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.7 percent accuracy of the winners. SG Bball looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Tong Whye 's players. The winners were led by Jonathan Hai who had that evening a double-double by scoring 32 points and 11 rebounds and Jun-Hao Lee supported him with 30 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds by international guard Benjamin Lim (184-1997) did not help to save the game for Tong Whye . International guard Yuhui Zhen (180-1998) added 16 points for lost side. Tong Whye's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. SG Bball maintains ninth position with 5-10 record. Loser Tong Whye keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Xin Hua.
