There was no surprise in Hanoi where 5th rankedDragons (4-9) were defeated by third ranked Buffaloes (8-5) 91-82 on Sunday. The game was dominated by American players. Guard George Peterson (188-1995, college: WCU) fired 29 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds. Buffaloes' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Max Lee Allen (206-2002, college: Marist) produced 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Bryan Nguyen (178-2000, college: Alaska) added 19 points and 11 assists respectively for lost side. Buffaloes maintains third place with 8-5 record having seven points less than leader Heat. Loser Dragons keep the fifth position with nine games lost.
