Regular Season Round 11: Siglap - Tungsan 88-71

Rather expected game when 12th rankedTungsan (1-8) lost to tenth ranked Siglap (3-8) in Singapore 71-88 on Saturday. Siglap looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Gavin Tay (188-1999) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. International guard Xavier Ng Jun (188-2000) accounted for 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Kyran Catiter came up with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Prasant Selvakumar added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Tungsan in the defeat. Five Siglap and four Tungsan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Siglap moved-up to ninth place, which they share with SG Bball. Newly promoted Tungsan stay at the bottom position with eight games lost.
